Following the sad passing of Nigel Brayley, I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and share the future plans for N Brayley Roofing & Building.
Many of our customers already know me, but for those who do not, my name is Jamie Cassford. I am Nigel's brother-in-law, having been married to his sister for many years, and I have worked alongside Nigel as Foreman and Lead Roofer for more than a decade.
During that time, I have been involved in thousands of projects across the Isle of Wight, helping to deliver the roofing, building, and groundwork services that have made N Brayley Roofing & Building a trusted local name since 2003.
Nigel built this company through hard work, dedication, and a genuine commitment to helping people. The reputation he created is something I am incredibly proud to have been a part of, and it is why I have chosen to continue trading under the N Brayley name.
Keeping the company name is important to me and to Nigel's family. It is a way of honouring the legacy he built over more than twenty years serving customers across the Isle of Wight.
While the name remains the same, I also see this as an opportunity to strengthen and develop the business for the future.
One of my main priorities is delivering excellent customer service at every stage of a project. That means improving communication, providing clearer updates, responding to enquiries promptly, and ensuring customers always know where they stand.
I also believe in taking a measured approach to our workload. Rather than trying to take on too many projects at once, my focus is on careful scheduling and ensuring that every job receives the time, attention, and workmanship it deserves.
Our commitment to quality remains unchanged. We will continue to offer the same range of roofing, building, groundwork, landscaping, and digger hire services, delivered by experienced tradespeople who take pride in their work.
To our existing customers, thank you for your continued support and trust over the years. To those considering working with us for the first time, I look forward to showing you why the N Brayley name has earned such a strong reputation across the Isle of Wight.
As we move forward, my aim is simple: to protect the reputation Nigel built, honour his legacy, and continue providing the reliable, high-quality service that our customers expect.
